Maple Leaf Bakery is a new premises in Govan, Glasgow. Serving sweet and savoury artisan breads and cakes in a modern, warm and inviting cafe. Set up for both sit-in and take-away. A true Boulanger where all items are produced on site, giving the venue an even more inviting appeal.
My Creative worked with master baker Becca, originally from Canada and trading under the Maple Leaf name for many years, who took the chance to open a store. My Creative wanted to expand on the brand name and keep the logo simple and iconic. A mark that could be recognisable on bags, boxes and cups, as well as the shop signage. We used a warm colour palette paired with a burgundy red for the Maple Leaf and wordmark. This would complement the American Oak furniture, window bench interior and various external signage touchpoints that we developed.
Deliverables include: Wordmark, Logo design and brand identity, gift box packaging design, illustration, online content, labels, to-go bags and takeaway packaging. The lot!
